After leaving Eureka, we started making our way south and inland, stopping in Cloverdale, CA, for about a week. We stayed at a Thousand Trails campground that backs up to the Russian River. The campsites were narrow and had sloped, angled driveways. We made it, and were glad we did not have a larger trailer. Most days were sunny and warm, allowing us to swim in the river. Jack even took a dip for the first time! The things he does to retrieve a ball…

While in Cloverdale, Tiffany and Aidan took a long drive to Sea Ranch to visit relatives and had a great time. We also visited with relatives at our campsite, watched movies, and played a lot of basketball. Jack enjoyed a great dog park in Healdsburg, CA, where the boys’ jaws began to drop when looking at real estate prices. A sign of things to come as we traveled through wine country and the San Francisco Bay Area.
